Manchester Hoteliers Association announces new partnership with Kuits Solicitors

21st October 2026

Manchester Hoteliers Association (MHA), the membership organisation representing more than 70 of Manchester’s leading hotels, has announced a new partnership with Manchester commercial law firm Kuits Solicitors, creating opportunities for members to engage with the firm’s sector specialists through MHA’s programme of events and activities.

The partnership forms part of MHA’s continuing programme of support for Manchester’s hotel community.

Kuits will also support the association’s annual Ball & Awards, which is now in its 21st year, with a sponsorship of the ‘Back of House’ category. The winner will be announced at the event on 29th October at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

As an early part of the relationship, MHA and Kuits have already delivered a highly interactive seminar for hotel general managers on forthcoming employment law changes. The session enabled members to explore the practical implications for their businesses, share experiences and put questions directly to Kuits’ employment law specialists.

Matt Townley, Chair of Manchester Hoteliers Association, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kuits as a partner of the Association. Its specialist knowledge of the leisure and hospitality sector, combined with its practical approach, will be invaluable to our members. The recent employment law seminar was engaging and interactive, and Kuits’ support of an award at our annual ball will also help us celebrate the outstanding people and achievements across Manchester’s hotel community.”

Susan Honeyands, Head of Leisure and Hospitality at Kuits, said: “Manchester’s hotel sector plays a vital role in the city’s economy and visitor experience. We are delighted to support Manchester Hoteliers Association and its members through this partnership. Our recent seminar with general managers demonstrated the value of open, practical discussion, and we look forward to building on that engagement.”

MHA’s annual ball brings together Manchester’s hotel community to celebrate the sector and recognise outstanding contributions.
