Kuits secure licence for BrewDog Canterbury

Kuits leisure team have secured the licence for BrewDog’s latest venue at Canterbury Riverside complex. The much-anticipated leisure complex in Kent has been described as a ‘game-changer’ for the local area in terms of enticing people to explore the outskirts of the city centre.

Felicity Tulloch, Partner and Head of the leisure team at Kuits said; “We are delighted to have secured the licence for our client. This is a prime site for one of BrewDog’s iconic bars which will create new jobs for the local area and increase footfall at the new leisure complex.”

BrewDog was founded in Scotland in 2007 and has grown rapidly in the last decade with bars and hotels opening worldwide and its beers are sold in a range of pubs and supermarkets. The company, which was rejected by the producers of Dragons Den in 2008, is said to be worth about £1.5 billion.

Kuits is advisor to a number of craft beer and distiller brands, including Cloudwater Brew, Shindigger, Manchester Gin and Zymurgorium.
