Tom joined Kuits in September 2020 and completed seats in Commercial Litigation & Insolvency, Banking & Finance and Corporate teams. Tom completed an 18 month training contract and qualified into the Commercial Litigation team in March 2022.

Areas of Expertise

Tom has extensive debt recovery litigation experience, including enforcement of judgment debts having worked as a Paralegal at Shoosmiths before joining Kuits. Shortly before commencing his training contract, Tom worked at Grant Thornton as an Insolvency Assistant gaining experience on contentious insolvency appointments.

Since qualifying at Kuits, Tom has acted for clients, both Claimant and Defendant, on the following;

• Contract disputes
• Defective product claims
• Professional negligence claims
• Unfair prejudice petitions / shareholder disputes
• Insolvency
• Debt recovery and enforcement actions
