Tom advises on all aspects of intellectual property law. He is experienced in dealing with both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Tom regularly advises both claimants and defendants in relation to court proceedings, as well as those bringing or defending an action before the UK Intellectual Property Office. He handles matters from the pre-action stage to resolution, whilst offering strategic settlement advice.
Tom also assists business and individuals to understand, protect, and commercially exploit their intellectual property assets. In particular, he is proficient in drafting tailored licences and assignments which secure high-value outcomes for his clients. While he has experience assisting SMEs as part of the UK IPO Audit Scheme, he can also provide strategic advice on the protection, management, and exploitation of their intellectual property portfolio.
