Stacey Rees is a highly experienced commercial property lawyer with a strong landlord-focused background, having spent nine years in-house at a leading UK commercial property group before joining Kuits over two years ago.
At Kuits, Stacey has played a key role in advising landlords on lettings in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. While site acquisitions were led by the development team, Stacey was closely involved with the development team to ensure a full understanding of the title position and the rights granted or reserved – allowing her to draft EV leases accurately and effectively. Her experience also includes negotiating substation arrangements for EV infrastructure.
Furthermore, Stacey regularly advises landlords with overseas tenants, coordinating with international legal teams to secure opinion letters on tenant solvency and transaction capacity – protecting rental income and ensuring smooth cross-border deals.
Her experience also spans the commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, life sciences and technology sectors. She has advised a wide range of clients, from leading property companies to operators in retail and leisure – including shops, veterinary practices, gyms, and padel tennis courts. She also acts for pension funds in property transactions.
