Areas of Expertise

Nick is head of commercial real estate and a highly experienced commercial property lawyer with a strong focus on development and investment. Nick also advises on structuring, construction, planning and infrastructure. He is further recognised as a leading partner in both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners consistently.

Nick is relationship partner for a wide range of clients, including major publicly listed companies and numerous national and regional property developers and investors. His practice covers all key sectors, including leisure, office, industrial, energy, and residential.

Notable highlights from his portfolio include:

• Advising Land Securities plc on an asset swap valued at approximately £700 million
• Acting for Development Securities plc in a joint venture to deliver a 28-storey residential tower in Manchester city centre
• Supporting Persimmon plc on multiple acquisitions, options, and development agreements
• Representing Citybranch Limited in the redevelopment of a regional NHS hospital
• Advising a substantial Fund on all aspects of its national portfolio
