He has practiced contentious and non-contentious construction law for 40 years in all domestic construction sectors with emphasis on dispute avoidance.

Ken has extensive experience of arbitration, adjudication and award enforcement as well as advising on and preparing contract documentation.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, chair of education for the North West Branch and a regular contributor of articles on adjudication and the enforcement of construction adjudication decisions for the ciarb and the construction press.

Ken also presents adjudication webinars for CICES. Ken is a CMC accredited mediator of construction and related disputes.

Career

Ken worked as a Legal Executive before qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales and later in Ireland.

Education

Ken was educated at Woolston High, Salford Tech and the Liverpool Colleges of Commerce
