Gill Sherratt is a leading licensing consultant specialising in alcohol, entertainment and premises licensing, with a particular focus on helping businesses and operators navigate complex licensing applications and challenging regulatory matters.
Gill has worked in licensing since 2005. With over 20 years’ experience in the sector, she brings practical knowledge built from working directly within the licensing system since the introduction of the Licensing Act 2003.
Gill has been involved in every stage of the licensing process. Her experience spans licensing training, new licence applications, variations, reviews, enforcement matters, hearings, and court appeals. She represents clients nationwide at licensing committee hearings and is an accredited trainer for recognised licensing qualifications.
She is known for being thorough, straightforward and commercially minded, with a strong understanding of how licensing decisions affect businesses in the real world. Gill takes a proactive approach to licensing. Her approach is to make what can often be a complicated and stressful process as clear and manageable as possible for her clients.
