Kuits retains top tier Chambers ranking

Commercial law firm Kuits has once again been awarded Leading Firm status in the Chambers & Partners legal directory.

Kuits retained a top Band 1 ranking for corporate/M&A, with head of department Rob Buckley also retaining his ranking as Band 1 lawyer.

The firm’s Head of Corporate, Kirsti Pinnell was promoted to Band 1 for the first time, the highest commendation for leading individuals. Executive partner Robert Levy is also listed as an Eminent Practitioner for corporate/M&A work.

Kuits has also maintained its rankings in the following three practice areas: Intellectual Property, Real Estate and Licensing.

These rankings follow on from Kuits’ Tax and Estate Planning team being ranked Band 1 in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide, where law firms are recognised for the quality of their work with high net worth individuals and families.

The firm also secured a number of new individual rankings in the Chambers UK Guide. Kuits Head of Licensing, Felicity Tulloch has been listed as ‘Up and Coming’ for Licensing work in the regions and Family Senior Lawyer, Colin Davies has been listed in Band 3 for Family and Matrimonial work in Manchester.

Licensing expert Anthony Lyons maintained his ranking as a ‘Senior Statesperson’.

Clients interviewed by Chambers referenced Kuits as having “great insight into the business priorities of their clients” and named one of the firm’s key strengths as identifying “how their clients’ businesses are run.” Clients also praised Kuits’ lawyers as being “very experienced and very conscientious. They have been doing it for so long they know exactly what they are doing.”

Steve Eccleston, Managing Partner at Kuits commented: “Our team of lawyers are a credit to Kuits and we are proud that both the Firm’s individual and practice area rankings in the Chambers UK Guide 2022 reflect their hard work over the last 12 months.

“The recognition we have received is always of great value to us as it is a direct result of positive feedback from our client base of SMEs, owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals, based on the trusted advice they have received.”

The Chambers Guides have been ranking the best law firms and lawyers since 1990. Chambers rank both lawyers and law firms based on the research of 170 full-time editors and researchers, who conduct thorough client interviews in order to gauge the quality of legal services provided.
