Kuits awarded top Law Society accolade for ninth consecutive year

18 Sep 2019

Manchester commercial law firm Kuits has secured the national Law Society’s legal practice quality mark, Lexcel, for the ninth year in a row.

Lexcel is a national standard, designed to recognise high standards of business management and client care in the legal profession.

In order to gain and retain the accreditation, firms must undergo background checks, complete a thorough application and assessment process, and receive an on-site visit from an independent Lexcel assessor.

Applicants are judged across areas including financial management, structure and strategy, risk management, client care, file and case management, and people management.

Steve Eccleston, managing partner at Kuits, said: “We are proud to have secured the Lexcel accreditation again this year as it is a true representation of the commitment all of our people put in to ensure best practice throughout the firm.

“Establishing the highest standards is something that is embedded into our culture, so we are delighted that this has been recognised for the ninth consecutive year as it is testament to our commitment.”

Philip Knight, Lexcel assessor and senior partner at Lambert Merson said: “I am delighted to recommend continued Lexcel accreditation for a ninth consecutive year to Kuits. After spending time at the firm to review arrangements, it was clear that the practice continues to consistently achieve the organisation and delivery of legal services to a very high standard.

“The culture at Kuits is a unique one – open and supportive with a strong business and service ethos while still being approachable, personable and professional. The teams should be proud of such an achievement.”
