Kuits Solicitors has completed the lease on behalf of global food company Danish Crown for their £100m bacon factory in Rochdale.
Manchester commercial law firm, Kuits, recently completed the lease on behalf of global food company Danish Crown for their £100m bacon factory in Rochdale. The 30,500 sqm. facility at the Kingsway Business Park is aiming to open in the second half of 2023 and will create around 300 jobs. The site is to be built to meet high sustainable environmental standards and will be 100% powered by renewable energy.
Steve Jackson, Senior Associate at Kuits’ Commercial Property team, who worked on the lease said: “It was a pleasure to advise the team at Danish Crown on the lease of what will be a state-of-the-art facility, bringing important economic investment and employment to the region. Environmental sustainability has been central to this deal and has been considered with every decision.”
