Join us in March, where we welcome Sharon Amesu, a leadership consultant and multi‑award winning professional speaker.

Sharon spent 16 years of her career as a criminal barrister with a highly successful practice across the North West. Today, Sharon is the co‑founder of ‘She Leads for Legacy’, an organisation supporting the personal and professional development of black women and allies, with a thriving community of more than 2,500 members.

A regular speaker on women in leadership and courageous leadership, Sharon is a Founding Fellow of the Society of Leadership Fellows at St George’s House, Windsor Castle, as well as serving as an Honorary Industry Fellow at the University of Salford Business School. Sharon has made history as the first Black Branch Chair of the Greater Manchester Branch of the Institute of Directors.

Sharon currently sits on the North West Business Leadership Team, where she co‑chairs the Diversity Drivers Group. She is a trustee of The Hallé Orchestra and chairs its EDI Committee, and she serves on the Board of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.

A TEDx speaker and LinkedIn learning instructor, Sharon’s course on courageous leadership has been completed by over 70,000 learners worldwide.
