Kuits associate makes Lawyer of the Year shortlist for Insider’s Young Professional Awards26 Mar 2018
A talented Kuits lawyer has made it onto the shortlist for the Insider North West Young Professionals Awards 2018.
Licensing associate Rebecca Ingram has been shortlisted in the ‘Young Lawyer’ category for the 15th instalment of the regional awards. This is the second consecutive year Kuits has been represented in the category – commercial property associate Emma Nimmo and intellectual property associate Yasmin Kalantari were both named as finalists in 2017.
Rebecca’s star continues to rise after she was highly commended in the Lawyer of the Year category at pro.manchester’s Made in Manchester Awards in February. An integral member of the firm’s specialist leisure team, Rebecca works with some of the country’s most renowned hospitality brands, including Living Ventures, Revolution and Individual Restaurants.
It has been a strong start to the year for the firm’s licensing team, with head of the department Anthony Lyons receiving the prestigious Lifetime Achievement honour at the Manchester Legal Awards earlier in March.
Executive partner at Kuits, Robert Levy, said: “The nurturing and development of our young talent is extremely important and we strive to ensure there is no limit to what they can achieve.
“Rebecca has had an incredible past 12 months in terms of both her personal achievements and what she has contributed to the firm, and her accomplishments continue to push her forward as a great role model for our budding lawyers.”
The Insider North West Young Professionals Awards is celebrating its 15th year of recognising the best young business talent from across the region in 2018. In shortlisting, the judges looked for people aged 35 or younger who have made a real difference over the last 12 months in terms of their dedication, expertise and dynamic approach.
The winners will be announced at an awards evening at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel on 19th April 2018.
