Kuits’ young talent make the Lawyer of the Year shortlist for Insider’s Young Professional Awards06 Mar 2017
Two bright young lawyers from Kuits have made it onto the shortlist for the Insider North West Young Professionals Awards 2017.
Commercial property associate Emma Nimmo and intellectual property solicitor Yasmin Kalantari have both been named finalists in the ‘Young Lawyer’ category. Kuits are the only firm to have two lawyers shortlisted for the award.
The news comes at the end of a successful week for the firm, in which it was named as the only law firm finalist in the Professional Services category for TheBusinessDesk’s Business Masters Awards 2017, as well as taking the ‘Highly Commended’ title at The Manchester Legal Awards 2017 for its Private Client team.
Yasmin Kalantari also made the Lawyer of the Year shortlist for pro.manchester’s Made in Manchester Awards earlier in the year.
Executive partner at Kuits, Robert Levy, said: “We believe that the support and development of our young talent is extremely important and, as a result, are very proactive in ensuring that they achieve their greatest potential. Emma and Yasmin have had an incredible past 12 months in terms of both their personal achievements and what they have contributed to the firm, so I’m thrilled that they have been recognised by the wider North West business community. We wish them the best of luck.”
The Insider North West Young Professionals Awards celebrate the best young business talent across the region. The judges looked for people aged 35 or younger, who have made a real difference over the last 12 months in terms of their dedication, expertise and dynamic approach.
The winners will be announced at an awards evening at The Lowry Hotel on 20th April 2017.
