Kuits advises The Roberts Partnership on sale to Brown Shipley13 Oct 2016
Manchester commercial law firm Kuits has advised the shareholders of R A Roberts Partnership Ltd on the sale of the company to private banking firm Brown Shipley.
The Roberts Partnership is an independent financial planning and wealth management company, based in Manchester city centre.
Part of KBL European Private Bankers, Brown Shipley offers UK-wide wealth planning, investment management and private banking services to a range of clients. The business has offices in Manchester, London, Leeds, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Nottingham.
Completing on 1 November 2016, The Roberts Partnership will become a subsidiary of Brown Shipley and will ultimately join its Manchester office in Spinningfields.
Kuits provided the owners at The Roberts Partnership with a comprehensive legal service, encompassing corporate, employment and commercial property advice with relation to the sale.
Corporate partner Peter Allen led the transaction, supported by corporate associate Helen Mather and commercial solicitor Rebecca Bainbridge. Employment partner Kevin McKenna and commercial property partner Martin Davies also advised.

The sellers were also advised by Hurst accountants and Brown Shipley were advised by Irwin Mitchell.
