Kuits advises Vini Italiani on the opening of its Covent Garden store

18 Jan 2016

Manchester commercial law firm Kuits has advised Vini Italiani on the launch of its second site, on Covent Garden’s piazza.

Kuits provided legal and commercial advice to the management team of the independent wine retailer and bar on its licensing requirements and provisions relating to the lease for its new wine café and store.

Customers will be able to sample the best of Italian wines on-site or to take-away, alongside the finest Italian meats and cheeses. The venue will also serve breakfast with specially chosen breakfast wines and afternoons will see Italian afternoon tea wines recommended by the in-house sommelier.

Vini Italiani’s first site opened on Old Brompton Road, South Kensington, in 2011.

Martin Davies, partner in Kuits commercial property department, commented: “The success of the Old Brompton Road store has meant Vini Italiani has been looking towards expansion for quite a while now, so we’re pleased to have advised on the opening of its second site.

“With such a prestigious location secured, the team will now be able to promote Italian apertivo culture to customers in central London, as well as South Kensington.”
