Jake is a solicitor in our Employment department.
Jake joined Kuits in September 2020 as a trainee solicitor, completing his first two seats in Commercial and Residential Property, before joining the Employment department in September 2021.
After training for a year in the team, Jake qualified as an Employment Solicitor in September 2022 where he has experience in both contentious and non-contentious law. This includes advising on and reviewing employment contracts, workplace policies and staff handbooks as well as preparing cases for the employment tribunal, covering a wide range of workplace issues such as discrimination and unfair dismissal. Jake also assists the team in providing day-to-day employment advice for businesses.
Prior to starting at Kuits, Jake worked as an employment paralegal, assisting solicitors on a high-profile group claim involving thousands of claimants. Jake previously worked as a litigation paralegal in insurance subrogation.
