Maddy is an Associate in the Family department.
Areas of Expertise
Maddy’s practice spans all aspects of privately funded family law, with particular emphasis on financial disputes and wealth protection. She advises clients predominantly in relation to divorce and matrimonial finances, including matters concerning complex Trust and business assets, and wealth protection by way of pre and post nuptial agreements. Maddy also advises non-married clients in respect of cohabitation agreements and disputes.
In addition, Maddy advises clients on private children law matters such as child arrangements on divorce, relocation issues and international child abduction, including Hague Convention proceedings. Maddy has a niche interest in international surrogacy arrangements, advising prospective parents through to the successful award of Parental Orders.
She is a member of Resolution, the leading association of family lawyers promoting a constructive approach to family law.
