Lauren started her training contract with Kuits in March 2018.
Area of Expertise
Before joining Kuits as a trainee, Lauren spent 10 months as a paralegal at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s Global Centre in Manchester. During this time, Lauren had some great opportunities including leading a team of paralegals in the London head office an international outsourcing deal, as well as working in Brussels at the European Commission assisting with a highly contentious anti-trust, competition and trade matter.
During her first seat at Kuits in Tax and Estate planning, Lauren enjoyed being involved in all aspects of the varied work undertaken by the Tax team, experiencing both the contentious and non-contentious elements of this seat. Lauren particularly benefitted from the client facing nature and appreciated the opportunity to develop her interpersonal skills from attending both internal and external client meetings.
Now in her second seat within the banking department, Lauren supports the Banking and Real Estate Finance Team in acting for a variety of lender and finance professionals. Lauren is involved with carrying out title investigations, reports on title, lease reviews and drafting security documentation.
