14 May 2018

Kuits has been shortlisted for Property Law Firm of the Year in the Insider North West Property Awards 2018.

The winners will be announced at an awards taking place this Thursday (17 May) at Manchester Central, where more than 1,000 people will be in attendance.

The awards bring together some of most influential businesses and individuals in property development from the region and celebrate their achievements from the past twelve months.

The firm provides a comprehensive legal and commercial advisory service to its nationwide client base of property developers, investors, funders and contractors, encompassing commercial and residential property, construction, property litigation, real estate finance and licensing advice for mixed-use developments.

Kuits’ commercial property team, led by partner Nick Nyunt, has advised on property transactions worth over £500m in the last 12 months.

Key deals included advising Crewe Assets on the sale of a BAE Systems-occupied manufacturing warehouse near Crewe to a consortium of Korean institutional investors for £56m, and the acquisition of land at Luneside for Persimmon Homes Lancashire, a key regeneration site that had previously lain locked up and undeveloped for years.

The firm is a trusted advisor to a number of North West-based developers including Property Alliance Group (PAG) and housebuilder Stewart Milne Holmes.

Nick Nyunt said: “Property development continues to grow at a rapid rate in the North West and we are proud to advise some of the most exciting and ambitious names in the sector and help shape the property landscape in the region.

“Our experienced and dynamic team have an in-depth knowledge of our clients and the challenges faced within the market, and can advise on the full scope of their needs to add value to a variety of projects.”
