- HR Breakfast Club
HR Breakfast Club
Yorkshire County Cricket Club, one of England’s most historic sporting clubs, has recently hit the headlines after a former player, Azeem Rafiq, came forward as a whistleblower, detailing his account of alleged institutional racism he faced at the club between 2008 and 2018.
As a result of these allegations, several senior officials at the club have resigned and several sponsors have ended their partnerships with them. The story has sent shockwaves through the sporting world, but such damning allegations made against an employer will resonate with businesses across the country.
In this HR Breakfast Club, the Kuits Employment team will take attendees through how to effectively deal with complaints of discrimination in the workplace, explaining what impact these claims can have if not dealt with promptly, as well as legal pitfalls to be aware of.
The team will also be giving their quarterly case law update.
We are also delighted to welcome guest speaker Ashley Boroda from Ashley Boroda Training and Development. Ashley is an Institute for Leadership and Management Level 7 Coach and an iMA Practitioner. iMA is the only behavioural and communication tool which is not psychometric, making it very easy to understand and to use.
Ashley will be focusing in on how to create virtuous circles for jobs and regular job health checks, for the benefit of the employee, client/customer and employer by using iMA to its full potential.
