5th October 2004 |
Manchester law firm, Kuit Steinart Levy has played an instrumental role in the admission of the first Chinese domiciled company to be admitted to AIM (Alternative Investment Market). China Wonder Limited is the holding company of Jinzhou Wonder Packing Machinery Co. Ltd, a leading Chinese manufacturer of specialist packaging machinery to the Chinese pharmaceutical market. Kuit Steinart Levy worked closely with Rowan Dartington, nominated
adviser and broker to China Wonder and BDO Stoy Hayward, accountants,
to facilitate the landmark flotation which resulted in China Wonder
Limited commencing dealings on 1 October in its entire issued ordinary
share capital. A total of 500,000 new ordinary shares were placed on
AIM at 24 pence per share, giving China Wonder a market capitalisation
at the placing price of Rob Buckley, who lead the team at Kuit Steinart Levy comments: “The admission of China Wonder to AIM will benefit the company greatly, allowing it to raise its profile within its own market at the same time as giving it access to capital to enable further acquisitions. It has been very rewarding for the team at Kuits to work on such a significant flotation and we have enjoyed a close working relationship with the UK team as well as with China Wonder’s representatives in the Far East.” Ends For further information please contact: |
