The Business Desk.com - Cuban Revolution begins in Blackpool
01-Aug-2011 Inventive Leisure has launched a new rum bar concept, Revolucion de Cuba, at its new outlet on Market Street in Blackpool.Revolution launched the new concept alongside its main vodka bar unit in a sprawling new venue in Blackpool capable of holding 1,200 people last Friday.
The outlet is one of Inventive's biggest in the country and will employ 80 people.
The Ashton-under-Lyne company was advised on obtaining the 3am premises licence for the unit by Manchester-based law firm Kuits.
Licensing partner Anthony Lyons said: “We have worked with the team at Revolution over the last fifteen years. It’s great to assist with their continued expansion. We wish them every success with the Blackpool bar.”
