Kuits advises Property Alliance Group JV

28-Jul-2011 Manchester law firm Kuits Solicitors has advised Property Alliance Group on a joint venture agreement with London-based asset management partnership Cooke & Powell LLP.

The JV company Alliance Property Asset Management (APAM) will focus on the strategic management of all types of commercial and residential property throughout the UK.

APAM is already working in partnership with a number of banks, funds, special services and insolvency practitioners to optimise value from challenged property assets, businesses and debt instruments totaling in excess of £250 million. APAM has offices in Manchester, London and Belfast.

Property Alliance Group, which was advised on this deal by Rob Buckley, corporate partner at Kuits, has a nationwide development and investment portfolio valued at over £240 million covering the industrial, office, retail and leisure sectors.

David Russell, Chief Executive of Property Alliance Group commented, “We are excited to join forces with Simon Cooke and William Powell who bring a combined 45 years experience of successfully managing third party capital in the UK. They have an unblemished track record through three property cycles, will expend our geographical coverage to the South and substantially broaden our client relationships.”
