Kuits advises eBECS on acquisition of ePartners UK
25-Aug-2011 Manchester law firm Kuits Solicitors has advised eBECS Limited on the purchase of the business and key assets of ePartners UK Limited.eBECS, which operates from offices in the UK, US, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and China, designs and delivers business solutions through Microsoft Dynamics AX and CRM systems for a range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, professional services, automotive and oil and gas.
Fellow business solutions consultancy ePartners UK specialises in Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) also based on the Microsoft Dynamics platform.
A team from Kuits including partners Rob Buckley, Martin Davies, and solicitor Liz Swann advised eBECS on the acquisition resulting in eBECS becoming one of the largest Microsoft Dynamics resellers in the UK. The synergy between the companies enhances service delivery with over 120 Microsoft Dynamic professionals now serving the worldwide customer base of over 130 organisations.
Sam Sammour, chairman of eBECS commented, “This is a strategic acquisition and a major step forward in advancing our long-term growth plan, a Microsoft-centric strategy that is based on extending eBECS’ reach to new industry verticals, and greater alignment of eBECS products and services to the Microsoft Dynamics product set.”
Chief executive, Kevin Hall continued, “ePartners UK is a first-class business, with an excellent range of skills and people, delivering quality business solutions to a range of high-profile customers. There is a strong cultural fit between eBECS and ePartners UK and this will allow us to provide all our customers with increased bandwith, improved intellectual property and greater scalability.”
In recognition of this announcement, Steve Morrow, Director, Microsoft Dynamics UK, said, “The merger of two of our more successful partners is an exciting move and is completely in line with our stated desire to have a smaller number of larger, more focused partners in the UK marketplace. The combination of eBECS’ strength in lean manufacturing and ePartners UK’s expertise in the services sector provides an ideal match that is fully endorsed by Microsoft.”
