Nick is a Partner and Head of our Commercial Property Department.
Nick specialises in property development (including site assembly, development agreements, forward funding and forward commitments, joint venture arrangements, construction and planning and infrastructure agreements) and property investment.
Nick’s clients include major plcs together with many national and regional property development and investment companies. He advises in all practice areas including the leisure, office, industrial and residential sectors. Some of Nick’s work highlights include acting for Land Securities plc in an asset swap worth c. £700m, acting for Development Securities plc in a joint venture to develop a 28 storey residential tower in Manchester City Centre, acting for Persimmon plc on multiple acquisitions, options and development agreements across the North and the Midlands, acting for North West developer Citybranch Limited in connection with the redevelopment of the Altrincham General Hospital and acting for a major regional property investment company on its acquisition of a BAE Munitions factory in Crewe for £44m and its subsequent sale.
Nick is also the client relationship manager for many non-property focused clients including Salford Red Devils rugby league club.
